Friday 15 February 2013

I spent a small amount of time at Lowestoft railway station, here are some photo's from today.

153 314 arrives at Lowestoft with a service from Norwich

The same train arrives at the platform with it's destination already set for the return working to Ipswich

The 153 unloads passengers.

156 416 arrived at Lowestoft from Ipswich, and is seen next to the 153
The conductor then got ready to change the Blind

The 156's conductor changes the destination  blind to Norwich

The 156 departs for Norwich while the 153 waits for passengers

The Semaphore signal gives the clear signal for the Ipswich Train to Leave

Looks like the National Express East Anglia Logo is still there underneath!

A view of the front end of the 153.

RHTT at Beccles

Tim Milner sent me this video of the Rail Head Treatment Train crossing the level crossing over the beccles bypass on the East Suffolk Line. My thanks to Tim for the video.
